O&G/Air quality subversion (Colorado) 

The State of Colorado has been out of compliance with federal air quality standards since the 1970’s.  There has been a State Implementation Plan in place since then to bring Colorado into compliance.  Successive Administrations have kicked the can down the road so that the Plan remains out of compliance.  Additionally, SB181 was the culmination of promises from gubernatorial candidate, Jared Polis, to cause the Fracking industry (a major air pollution source) to comply with much stricter regulations.  Now, Governor Polis is failing to implement the legislation that he signed into law to fulfill his candidate promises (see report by former Sen. Mike Foote).  It’s time for these governmental commitments to get implemented!  Let’s demand action NOW!
